Why does one World Heritage site appear as several entries?
A World Heritage site often covers several buildings or ruins; a historic city area, for example, can contain museums visited separately. Each visitable place is its own entry on this site, so parts of the same property appear on separate rows.
What does the inscription year mean?
It is the year the site was added to the UNESCO World Heritage List. Some sites were extended later; the table shows the first inscription year.
Does the Museum Pass work at UNESCO sites?
Usually at those run by the Ministry, but check each one. Look for the Museum Pass badge on the card and confirm on the official list at muze.gov.tr.
Are Tentative List sites included?
No. This page only shows entries linked to sites inscribed on the World Heritage List. Tentative List sites have their own museum or site pages but do not carry the UNESCO badge.
