Art museums in Türkiye

122 art museums and galleries: painting and sculpture museums, contemporary art centres, and photography, ceramics and mosaic collections. They are spread across 23 provinces, with most in the big cities; Istanbul has the largest share (48).

Many private art museums are run by foundations or companies rather than the Ministry. The Museum Pass usually does not apply there, and temporary exhibitions may need a separate ticket. Programmes change often, so follow the official website link on each museum page for what is on now.
